Be not afraid, for I am with you ever:
Yea, I am with you unto the world's end:
Though you forsake Me, I shall leave you never;
I am your Lord, your Brother, and your Friend.

You know by now the world you live in hates you;
Your life seems like a living tragedy;
You're scorn'd and scoff'd at, everyone berates you;
You only wish your enemies could see.

Me love and follow, people slandering you;
Endure it when you wish that you were dead;
I died for you, from death to life to bring you,
And I did rise, exactly as I said.

If you do well and serve Me as you ought to,
Submit your will to Me without restraint,
Then you, now thirsty, will at last be brought to
Heavenly waters and become a Saint.

and it is really great that your writing expresses the opposing view that sooo many people hold. we have lost a lot of spirituality in recent times.

Thank you. I will confess that I am guilty of being rather too proud of some of my recent work. I hope you are right about the "writing streak" you speak of. There are some reasons for the "loss of spirituality" you speak of: the fact that people are now taught that nothing is true (except what doesn't offend other people), truth is relative - how sad that most people actually believe that nonsense -, and people connect the generic idea of Religion with Islam. Of course, Christians do not blow other people up, one hopes - or if they do, they cannot appeal to their religion to justify it.
Do you think the Atheist Brigade think they're being very brave? When their poison is spread throughout the lands, and anyone who thinks differently will be either ignored or considered as, insult of insults, a Fanatic? I find it very depressing when such people scoff at Christianity. You read comments like "McGrath is a hypocrite. He can't help it, being a Christian." That sort of thing, as I said, makes me very angry.

Dawkins' arch-enemy. He has written various books on science and on religion and on both together. He has also written "The Dawkins Delusion", which I have not read, but which is a refutation of Dawkins' book.
